Who are the team members behind Convex Finance?
The team behind Convex Finance is composed of a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of experience in the blockchain and finance industries.
The core team includes: • Alexei Akhunov – Co-founder & CEO. Alexei has extensive experience in the blockchain industry, having previously worked as a software engineer at Coinbase and as a product manager at ConsenSys. He is also an active contributor to the Ethereum community.
• Igor Barinov – Co-founder & CTO. Igor has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and was previously the lead engineer at Coinbase. He is also an active contributor to the Ethereum community.
• Alexander Kuzmin – Co-founder & COO. Alexander has over 10 years of experience in financial services, having previously worked as a portfolio manager at Goldman Sachs and as an analyst at Morgan Stanley. • Sergey Nazarov – Advisor & Investor Relations Lead.
Sergey is the co-founder and CEO of Chainlink, one of the most successful projects in the blockchain space. He is also an advisor to several other projects, including Aave, Synthetix, and MakerDAO. • Andrey Bugaevskiy – Advisor & Business Development Lead.

David has over 15 years of experience in legal services and was previously a partner at Perkins Coie LLP where he specialized in corporate law and venture capital transactions for technology companies.
