Who are the team members behind the project?
The Fantom project is led by a team of experienced professionals from various backgrounds.
The core team consists of: • Michael Kong – CEO and Co-Founder. Michael has over 10 years of experience in the blockchain industry, having worked with major companies such as IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle. He is also a co-founder of the Ethereum-based decentralized exchange, EtherDelta.
• Ahn Byung Ik – CTO and Co-Founder. Ahn has over 15 years of experience in software engineering and has held various positions at Samsung Electronics, Naver Corporation, and SK Telecom. He is also a co-founder of the Ethereum-based decentralized exchange, EtherDelta.
• Dr. Jahangir Mohammed – Chief Scientist and Co-Founder. Dr.
Mohammed has over 20 years of experience in distributed systems research and development and has held various positions at Microsoft Research, Nokia Research Center, and Oracle Labs. He is also a co-founder of the Ethereum-based decentralized exchange, EtherDelta. • Dr.
David Ben Kay – Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder. Dr. Kay has over 25 years of experience in software engineering and distributed systems research and development, having held various positions at Microsoft Research, Nokia Research Center, Oracle Labs, IBM Research Lab Tokyo, and HP Labs Tokyo.
He is also a co-founder of the Ethereum-based decentralized exchange, EtherDelta. • John Junsoo Kim – Chief Business Officer (CBO). John has over 10 years of experience in business development in the blockchain industry having worked with major companies such as IBM Korea and Microsoft Korea as well as being an advisor to several blockchain projects including Aelf (ELF) token sale project in 2017/2018.
• Daniel Shin – Chief Operating Officer (COO). Daniel has over 10 years of experience in business operations having worked with major companies such as Samsung Electronics’ Global Innovation Center (GIC) as well as being an advisor to several blockchain projects including Aelf (ELF) token sale project in 2017/2018. • Chris Kang – Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
