Who are the developers behind the project?
The Filecoin project was created by Protocol Labs, a research, development, and deployment laboratory founded by Juan Benet.
Protocol Labs is a distributed team of engineers, designers, researchers, and other professionals from around the world. The core development team behind the Filecoin project includes Juan Benet (Founder & CEO), Brad Cohn (Lead Engineer), John-Paul Gignac (Engineering Manager), and Zooko Wilcox-O'Hearn (Cryptography Advisor). Other members of the team include Alexey Akhunov (Core Developer), Arthur Breitman (Research Scientist), Michael Freedman (Research Scientist), Joe Hand (Software Engineer), and Brandon Iglesias (Software Engineer).
In addition to the core development team, there are many other contributors to the Filecoin project.
