What is Holo?
Holo is an open-source, distributed peer-to-peer network that enables the hosting of decentralized applications (dApps) and services.
It is built on Holochain, a data integrity engine for distributed applications. Holo is designed to be a platform for hosting and running distributed applications and services in a secure, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Holo is powered by its native cryptocurrency, Holo fuel.
Holo fuel is used to pay for hosting services on the network. It also serves as an incentive for users to participate in the network by providing rewards for hosting dApps and services. The more users that join the network, the more valuable Holo fuel becomes.
Holo’s mission is to create an open source platform that enables people to easily create and host their own dApps and services without relying on centralized infrastructure or third parties. This will enable developers to create innovative applications that are not possible with traditional web technologies. By using Holochain’s data integrity engine, developers can ensure that their applications are secure and reliable even when running on a distributed network of computers.
