About Radix
Radix is a decentralized ledger technology (DLT) project that is designed to provide a scalable, secure, and low-cost platform for the development of decentralized applications (dApps).
It is built on a new consensus algorithm called Tempo, which enables it to process up to 10,000 transactions per second. Radix also features an advanced smart contract language called Cadence, which allows developers to create complex dApps with ease. Radix's goal is to become the go-to platform for dApp development and deployment.
It provides developers with a range of tools and services that make it easy to build and deploy their applications. These include an SDK for creating dApps, a marketplace for buying and selling tokens, and an API for interacting with the network. The platform also offers a range of security features such as distributed key management and multi-signature wallets.
Radix also has its own native token called XRD, which is used to pay transaction fees on the network. XRD can also be used as collateral in smart contracts or staked in order to earn rewards from validating transactions on the network. The project has recently launched its mainnet, allowing developers to start building and deploying their dApps on the Radix network.
