Is there a limit to how much I can mine in the network?
The answer to this question depends on the type of mining you are doing.
If you are mining Helium tokens (HNT) through the Helium Hotspot network, then there is no limit to how much you can mine. The amount of HNT that can be mined is determined by the number of Hotspots in the network and the amount of data they are processing. The more Hotspots that are active in the network, the more HNT will be available for miners to earn.
If you are mining Helium blocks through a proof-of-work consensus algorithm, then there is a limit to how much you can mine. This limit is determined by the total supply of HNT that has been created and is set at 10 billion HNT. This means that once all 10 billion HNT have been mined, no more will be created and miners will no longer be able to earn rewards for mining blocks.
