Who are the team members behind Near?
The Near team is composed of a diverse group of experienced professionals from the blockchain, software engineering, and finance industries.
The core team includes: - Alex Skidanov, Co-founder and CEO: Alex is a serial entrepreneur with experience in blockchain technology and finance. He was previously the CTO of Remme, a blockchain-based authentication platform. - Illia Polosukhin, Co-founder and CTO: Illia is an experienced software engineer who has worked on projects such as Google’s TensorFlow and OpenAI’s Gym.
He was also the CTO of Remme. - Konstantin Kladko, Co-founder and COO: Konstantin is an experienced product manager with a background in financial services. He was previously the CEO of Remme.
- Alexander Kuzmin, Head of Research: Alexander is an experienced researcher with a background in cryptography and distributed systems. He was previously the head of research at Remme. The Near team also includes several other members who are responsible for various aspects of the project such as engineering, product management, marketing, operations, legal & compliance, design & UX/UI, community management, business development & partnerships, customer success & support.
