Who are the developers behind Polkadot?
The Polkadot project is led by the Web3 Foundation, a Swiss-based non-profit organization that was founded in 2017 to promote the development of a decentralized web.
The Web3 Foundation is headed by Dr. Gavin Wood, who is also the co-founder and former CTO of Ethereum. The core development team behind Polkadot consists of experienced developers from around the world, including Dr.
Wood himself. Other key members of the team include Robert Habermeier (co-founder and CEO), Peter Czaban (co-founder and COO), Jutta Steiner (co-founder and Head of Security), and Felix Lange (Head of Engineering).
