What is Quant?
Quant is a blockchain-based distributed ledger technology (DLT) platform that enables the development of decentralized applications (dApps).
It is an open source, permissionless, and secure platform that allows developers to create and deploy dApps on its network. Quant also provides a range of services such as asset management, data storage, and identity management. Quant was created by the Quant Network team in 2018 with the aim of providing a secure and efficient way for businesses to interact with each other using blockchain technology.
The platform is powered by its native token, QNT, which is used to pay for transaction fees and access certain features on the network. Quant also has its own consensus algorithm called Overledger which allows it to support multiple blockchains at once. This makes it easier for developers to build applications that span multiple blockchains without having to worry about compatibility issues.
Quant also provides tools for developers such as SDKs, APIs, and smart contracts which make it easier for them to develop dApps on the platform. Additionally, Quant has partnered with several companies such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services in order to provide enterprise-grade solutions for businesses looking to leverage blockchain technology.
